Weekly Competitions

There are three weekly competitions held on the courses at La Manga Club open to members and visitors as follows:

Monday	Qualifying 4 BALL BETTER BALL
Wednesday	Qualifying INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD OR MEDAL	Last Wednesday of the month - Counting Individual Medal.
Wednesday	Qualifying 9 Holes INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD	This competition will follow the 18 hole competition
Friday	Qualifying INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD	Counts towards Order of Merit.

Terms of Competitions

By entering in the Friday competitions, players will be entered into the Order of Merit which covers the best 8 performances between 5th March 2021 and 25th February 2022.

Vouchers will be awarded to the winners.

Please note that:

All tournaments at Real Golf La Manga Club are played according to the WHS Handicap System. The rules of the Real Federation Espanola de Golf (RFEG) apply. All Players with a current WHS handicap are welcome to play.
Players who only have a Spanish handicap (RFEG) will automatically be included in the starting list with the valid handicap.
Players who have a WHS handicap from another federation/organisation in addition to their Spanish handicap must submit the scoring record of the other federation to Golf Administration at least one week before the first qualifying tournament in order to synchronise the two WHS into a combined WHS.
Players who have only a WHS from another Country/Federation will play with that handicap. The scoring record of the other Federation has to be submitted to the Golf Administration together with the registration for the competition. The results played in Spain have to be reported to the home club so that the WHS can be adjusted.
A player is required to play with the lower handicap if he is licensed with two Federations or Organisations and if the handicap is different. The penalty for not doing so will result in disqualification.
All players with a legitimate and current handicap qualify to win vouchers.
A qualifying competition will require a minimum of 6 players.
In the event of fewer than 6 entries the Competition will be cancelled.
12 or fewer players will play in 1 qualifying mixed division
The draw & tee times will be by handicap order for Medal competitions. All other competitions will be order of entry.
Players can request to play with one other person per tee time in 4BBB competitions.
The entry for the competitions will be closed 48 hours in advance.
The starting time draw will be done the day before the competition and will be posted on the Notice boards.
Golf Admin will send your virtual scorecard one day before the competition. Please ensure you have the Golfdirecto App downloaded for a better experience.

For those who wish to join the Spanish Federation the cost is 78.10€ per year and can be applied for at Golf Administration.

Scoring and returning of cards in a qualifying competition

Tee times for the next Weekly Competition and competition results can be found by clicking on the button below.

Tee Times and Results

Once in the Golf Directo website, click on Programado (ES) / Scheduled (EN) for tee times and Finalizado / Results for results on the bar towards the top of the screen.

Next, scroll down to the competition you wish to check and click anywhere on it.

Finally, for Tee Times click on Horarios / Tee Times and for results on Resultados / Results as required in the drop down Tournaments' menu towards the top of the left hand menu.
