TERMS
OF THE COMPETITION The full Terms of the Competition can be found on-line via the link at the bottom of the entry form. Please read them and address any queries to lmcownersgolfchampionships@gmail.com. Key points are summarised below. COMPETITION ENTRY To enter the Owners' Championship you need to do two things:- 1. Complete the on-line entry form; and 2.Pay the 65€ entry fee by bank transfer no later than October 24th.
You will not be registered as a player in the tournament until you have done both of those. As the field is limited to 200, entrants will be registered as players on a ´first paid / first registered’ basis. Subject to availability, guests entered prior to October 24th will be confirmed as players on that date. Owners and guests entered after that date will be confirmed as players – again, subject to availability – with Owners taking priority. 1. All entrants are expected to attend the -tournament and prize-giving function on the Friday evening. There will be no refund or reduction in entry fee in the event of non-attendance; and
2. We may not be able to refund an entry fee if an entrant withdraws from the tournament after November 1st.
GREEN FEES For owners who have not paid an annual green fee or who do not have another deal (eg: a 2 year membership), LMC have offered green fees for the three competition rounds as follows: 1. An owner who has sports rights (aka club fees) and has paid them – 195€ (65€ per round)
2. An owner who has sports rights but has not paid them – 318€ (106€ per round)
3. An owner who does not have sports rights – 240€ (80€ per round)
4. Guests - 240€ (80€ per round)
Any green fee due must be paid via Golf Admin or GolfManager prior to the tournament. Note that an already purchased multi-round ticket can be used. Payment of a green fee does NOT mean that you are entered in the competition. That can only be achieved by completing the on-line entry form and paying the entry fee. CHOICE OF TEES The default tee for men will be the yellows and for ladies the reds. However, you will be able to select an alternate tee – accepting the revised playing handicap off 95% slope. Men can choose to play off the reds, blues, yellows or whites and ladies off the reds or blues. You will be able to make this choice on the entry form. HANDICAPS and QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS Section 3 of the TOC explains in complete detail the eligibility requirements and it is important to comply with them. Note that if the number of competitors registered exceeds 200, priority will be given to those who have complied. Please note the question on the entry form asking whether you have a non-Spanish WHS handicap. If you answer ‘Yes’ to this question, then you must send a copy of your non-Spanish playing record in PDF format to the address indicated on the email acknowledging receipt of your entry.
