COMPETITION ENTRY

To enter the Owners' Championship you will be asked to do just two things:

* Complete the on-line entry; and

* Pay the appropriate entry fee(s) by bank transfer.

The entry fee to play in the competition, attend the pre-tournament gathering and the post-tournament dinner is 75€. As well as entering the competition, you can invite a non-playing guest to accompany you to the gathering and the dinner subject to availability. The cost for this is also 75€.

Entry is restricted to two players per property each with one non-playing guest.

NOTE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED AS A PLAYER IN THE COMPETITION UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ON-LINE ENTRY FORM AND PAID THE ENTRY FEE. THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS PERMITTED IS 200 AND ENTRANTS WILL BE REGISTERED AS PLAYERS ON A ‘FIRST-PAID / FIRST-SERVED’ BASIS.

We will not be able to refund an entry fee if a player or guest withdraws from the competition or the dinner after November 10th.

Guest players will be able to take part so long as there is availability.

OVER 75s

This year, there will be supplementary prizes for men and ladies aged 75 and over.

In addition, men aged 75 or over can opt to play off the blue tees – accepting the consequent reduction in shot allowance – but will still be part of the main competition.

We cannot do this for the ladies, unfortunately, as there are no forward tees with a slope rating.

GREEN FEES

For players who have not paid an annual green fee nor bought a multi-round ticket, green fees for the three competition rounds have been agreed as follows:

* A player who has paid Club Fees – 234€

* A player who has not paid Club Fees – 294€

Multi-round tickets can be used to pay green fees or they can be paid on-line via GolfManager or at Golf Admin. Payment of a green fee does NOT mean that you are entered in the competition. That can only be achieved by completing the on-line entry form and paying the entry fee.

HANDICAPS

Please make sure you have read the Terms of the Competition Section 3 re: qualifying competitions, handicaps and handicap synchronisation and have taken the action required to ensure your handicap is both accurate and up-to-date. Failure to do this by November 11th means that you will not be eligible to win a prize. If the number of competitors registered exceeds 200, priority will be given to those who have complied with the requirements outlined in Section 3.

DECISION OF TIES

Ties will be decided as prescribed by the RFEG on playing handicap. In the event that there is a tie on playing handicap, the following count-back system will apply:

* scores for the last 18 holes

* the last 27;

* the last 30;

* the last 33;

* the last 35.

in sequence will be used, until a winner is established, using net shots in Handicap Stroke-play or points scored in Stableford
